RAMS makes it happen for local Habitat for Humanity

It was a perfect afternoon on May 20th for our team of volunteers to show some muscle at the RAMS BUILD DAY 2016 with Habitat for Humanity Choptank. Our team of volunteers removed old windows, doors, rain gutters and soffit, and cut an installed temporary coverings for the openings left by the vacated windows. In addition, our guys worked to jackhammer out concrete steps in preparation for a new entrance way and moved a substantial amount of topsoil to backfill around a recently installed patio.  All of this was accomplished within 3 hours of volunteer time.

Gutter work

Removing old guttering was just one of the items the team tackled.

Fixing the front

Two RAMS Field Tech’s test their construction skills out at the 2016 RAMS Build Day for Habitat for Humanity Choptank.

Shortly after the build day event Habitat for Humanity Choptank hosted their annual golf outing at the River Marsh Golf Club in Cambridge. RAMS once again stepped up to the plate to be the title sponsor and this year the event raised over 30K to become the most successful golf outing yet. Hats off to all the other sponsors who put their time, talent and treasure toward the tournament and support towards such an amazing organization.

Thank you from Habitat
